About Us
Why Our Facility?
We are a local weld testing facility with 12 bright booths located in Leduc, AB.
We want to make your experience as quick and stress free as possible, all while being extremely cost effective.
What We Offer
At Canada Weld Test & Training we offer ABSA B-pressure renewal tests daily. We also run a CWB test once a week (Monday) for your initial and renewal tickets. Here at our facility we develop welding procedure, QMS manuals and provide QA,QC and inspection services.
All practice and test's include coupons and consumables. Also, we provide grinders, wire wheels, wire brushes, grinding discs etc.

6" SCH80 ( B-pressure practice) (3hrs per joint)
- $80 for 1 joint, additional joint $70
- 2 joints = $150 (6hrs of welding)
- additional joint add on $16 per
6" SCH40 (2hrs per joint)
- $60 for 1 joint, additional joint $45
- 2 joints = $105 (4hrs of welding)
- additional joint add on $14
CWB practice plate
- $30 per plate ( 1hr per plate)
- or 3 for $80 (3hrs)
CWB plate with bend & inspection
- $40 (1hr per plate of welding)
Beveled plate ( open root) (1hr per joint)
- 2 plates (1 joint)= $25
- 3 plates (2joints)= $50 ( 2hrs welding)
- 4 plates ( 3 joints)= $70 (3hrs welding)
Typical carbon steel pipe practice ( 2" SCH160)
- 1 joint= $30 additional joint $25 ( 1hrs per joint)
*All Stainless-steel/ Exotic filler practice will be additional $10/hr
*$25 per hour on top of given time
